ps3 wired internet connection help?

how do u get a 2WIRE At&t dsl modem from my computer to my ps3 and i want to disconnect the modem from the computer to my ps3. plzzz help
i meant i want to disconnect my 2Wire - Wireless-G 802.11g ADSL Gateway from my computer to my ps3 but i dont know how to do that cuz when ever t i try it says its not working
 
I have wireless working good, but i cant get wired to work at all. at this point i would much rather use wired, b/c wireless isnt all that great, and i even have 100% signal (or so it says)

i dont understand the question though, 2 wire modem? you meen its going from your dsl to your computer without a switch or router? It would either go from the modem to your computer, or to your ps3.

either way i still cant get wired to accept connection even when i have wireless working.

yeah that will work, thats actually the purest connection you can get to your ps3. that will give you nat type 1, which is good. people that have routers have to configure it to work for the ps3. there are a few problems with that though, some dsl modems have firewalls, which will mess with the nat type, and that woudl take internet away from comptuer users in the house.
