Psp or 3ds? Which one and why?

I'm going to purchase one of these systems but I cant decide which! Psp has cool games and 3ds is new so not so many. Which one is better?
I guess the 3DS is going the way of PSP Go. I forgot about that announcement of it basically failing. Maybe ill save up and just buy a console instead of a handheld.
 
It depends on what your a fan of PSP is better but I'm getting a 3ds cause of the old games coming out being renewed if your 14 or under or not a fan of old nintendo games get a psp
 
Don't buy either right now, because the 3DS is a total failure (a fact recognized by the CEO of nintendo himself), and will soon be replaced by a revision that's 100x better, and the PSP vita is coming out soon to replace the psp.

If you must buy one now, I would go with the 3DS to play original DS games (which I personally prefer over PSP games because there is a much larger variety and I more exclusive titles).
