Hi. I am currently driving a 2001 Acura 3.2 TL. I went to go see a lightly modified 98' a4 1.8t and was puzzled by the RPM's. Let me explain, when i rev my Acura in neutral the RPM's shoot up very quick. When i revved the audi in neutral the RPM's climbed MUCH slower. Is this normal or is there a problem with the car???? Thanks.

Could be I own a 2008 TSX and also a 98.5 1.8T and my acura climbs RPM faster than my audi. The main reason is the forced induction but I really would get it looked at my a good VW/Audi mechanic. I have owned my A4 since and it has 203k miles on the OG motor with no major issus I am on the OG everything but these motors when they go wrong can be a handful email me if you need any specific answers [email protected]
