Question about 1999 Nissan Maxima?

I am 16 years old, and I was wondering if this was a good first car. Is this car quick for it's class? I know it's considered a sports sedan, so I am wondering how well the car handles, and how well acceleration is. I have the lowest model, idk if it's gle or gxe, i think gxe, but it has most of the se options. It has the fog lights, the bose stereo, things like that. It also has an anti-theft thing( little side question. It has the theft thing, but it didn't come with keyless entry. Can i get it for this car, if not, idk how to make the alarm go off, or shut it off if it does go off.) So tell me what you think about these cars, and their performance. Also, are there good mods for these cars? Thanks guys.

It is quick for its class, but Nissan Maxima's never really handled well with very bad turning radius'.

It has a powerful V6 engine that requires Premium gas.

The theft thing could be something besides an alarm. For example, the theft device might not let anyone start the car unless they have the key. No Hot wiring ability.

These are overall reliable and comfortable cars. Nissan Maxima's are more luxurious than sporty.

I have seen lots of people modify them.
