How come when you go to the rec center to play a pick-up game of basketball no one knows how to play. They play ridiculous street ball. If you try to drive you get fouled anywhere between 100 and 100 percent of the time. And everyone is constantly thrashing at your arms to try to steal the ball. It takes 0 skill to thrash at someones arms. What's the point of playing if there's no penalty for just reaching and grabbing peoples arms. They clearly have no hand eye coordination. Is it ok to swipe at the ball 100 times and get it once?
I just don't understand it. I almost don't even want to play because if your opponent is taller than you than you can't drive against him without him fouling you and since your smaller you will never be able to get out of his arms reach. And then they get mad when you call a foul on them 1 out of every 5 times!
