Question about Church of Christ(one without instrumental music)?

Ok,I am asking this with a sincere heart-because I am very troubled.I have been attending a C.o.C for a little over two years.I had noticed that some of the people there think that if you attend any denominational church you are not saved.I recently mentioned a close friend of mine (who is a Baptist) to my pastor and a deacon-they got this sad look on their faces and just shook their heads like-"oh,too bad they are lost"This bothers me so much! If someone accepts Christ as their savior and follows his commands he/she is saved-can anyone here tell me if all C.o.C think that their way is the only way?I have to find out.I cannot go to church where this is being taught/believed.GOD bless
I need to hear from those who attended or had family who attended-do they teach that Baptists,methodist etc are not saved?
 
you are in a very very zealous group that is very very close minded. I suggest u get out and find something more open minded, In your heart you know the pastor is wrong so for you HE IS. trust that instinct in life.
I grew up Catholic. Now in a non denominational Christian Church.
We're pretty liberal, Gays welcome. atheists come too, usually dragged by their spouses. lol
 
All you need is to confess that you are a sinner repent and believe and trust in Christ and you are saved. We don't sin so we can honor Christ. Read your bible and do what IT says.
 
Whoever calls in the name of the lord is saved.
There is, my dear, the invisible church, the church that consists or true sincere believers in Christ; only Christ knows who those people are, the really saved ones (from all denominations, lutheran, presbyterian, anglican, methodist, orthodox, catholic, baptist, etc.)
This is a protestant view of the church, taught me by the pastor who brought me to Christ.
The important thing is have Faith and live it out sincerely ad purely.

i went to a cof c and the congregation got in an argument over weather a pitch pipe was biblical,the quire director blew one before a song
before i left i asked if a p a system was biblical c of c are too hard headed
 
I agree with you. I attended a C.o Christ and did not go back because I love to hear and sing with music.
Who cares what anyone thinks if one repents and receives the Lord Jesus they are saved.
 
yeah it sounds like they are way too legalistic...MUSIC IS FINE...do they teach the TRinity?? if not its a cult..
im Methodist...check us out
 
They have not learned The word says to praise him on instruments.
