question about emigration to and army service in Israel?

I am mostly Jewish but my maternal grandmother is gentile, so technically I am not Jewish according to religious law. What are the laws relative to my emigration to Israel? How about my son, whose father is partially Jewish?

What are laws related to serving in the army? What are the age requirements and ethnicity rules? Thanks.

But to answer your question, I have another question: Do they actually look up your geneology? And even if they do, how do they know who was Jewish or not? Just tell everyone in Israel that your grandmother was Jewish.
