Hi, I am 20 years old now. I just got my permit again a few days ago (my old learners permit expired a few years ago), and I had a question. 16 year olds when they get their permits, have to wait 6 months before getting their license/ taking the driving test for your license. How many months, or what is the situation on 20-21 year olds, do you have to wait at all between getting your permit and license? I will be 21 in 5 1/2 months from now and I live in New Jersey- so I'm wondering what rules apply as far as waiting, in my state. If anybody knows, could you please give me a link or a source to your info- so I have proof it's true. Thanks!
