I watched some clips on youtube about it and it seems the fighters basically just punch and kick each other without any real technique. They dont bother to try and dodge instead of block, or use grabs and takedowns and grappling. Is any of this part of kyokushin??
Thats true, it does look like that. But when you're actually in a kumite, you do need skills and techniques. And Kyokusin does not do grabs, takedowns, and grappling during kumite.
