I don't know much about cars, it's a 2003 chevy cavalier. I'm new to an area where it frequently snows and I noticed when I have no traction my brake pedal will kind of vibrate and make a noise.
What should I do when this happens? Take off the brake or keep it down? Pump the brake pedal? Is it a problem I should have fixed?

Thats Your Abs Working You Cant Tell Cuse The Ice Is So Slick But You Dont Have A Problem With Your Break System Just Drive Slower And If You Feel Like Your Spining Out Turn Into The Way Your Car Is Drifting To Try To Keep It Straight. But In The Snow Break Tend To Lock Up Easier And That What You Are Feeling... But Press Slowly. Good Luck!
