ok so my sister totalled my car the other day and I havent bought a new one yet so I took the bus to school. IT was cold out and the bus shelter thingy has a non-smoking sign in it, There were about 12 or 14 ppl at the bus stop and its was a big bus shelter an we all coulda fit in there. However most of us were standing out in teh cold while 2 ppl were in the shelter - because they were smoking and no one wanted to go inside the bus shelter wit hthe smokers. Woudl it have been within my rights to say something to the smokers? What should i have done?

Being a smoker myself, I would never violate a non-smoking sign. However, if I was smoking in an area and someone asked me to please put my cigarette out because it was bothering them, I would have no problem doing so. You were totally within your rights to say something, somebody should have. After all, the two people smoking were in the wrong, not you.

I would tell them to go smoke their cancer sticks somewhere else!

The sign is clearly posted.
