Im 15 & a lesbian and fully out. I see it as a minor bit of information about me and would hate to be defined by it.
Yet my mum tend to be like 'Yeah this is my daughter, and shes likes girls!' Almost as if she's overly proud of it. Even at a party my mum was having a conversation about underage pregnancy and said 'Ah i wont have that problem, my lauren likes girls!' to a total stranger. I get so fed up of it!
Are your parents the same? Does it bug you?

Don't get me wrong peeps - i know im lucky to have a mum who's supportive - it just gets too much.
