question about phone powered by google and android?

if someone enters your android password wrong 5 times and then does that 4 more times lol if you have a phone like me youd understand. and then it tells you to enter the gmail email and password and you dont know it... will it completley destroy your information becuase i lost my phone and thats what i want to happen cause i dont want people looking at my text
 
i think it may but you should definatley contact the manufacturer and carrier report the phone stolen to the carrier and depending on the manufacturer they may be ale to trace your phone :) hope you find your phone
