Question about removing adverts from tv shows 2 be put on dvd disks?

I recorded some anime off the tv but on each episode i have bout 5 minutes of adverts. I woz just wondering if anybody knew of any way i could remove them 2 just keep the anime.

I got a Easycap video grabber r they any good 4 this?
