Question about removing "thing" behind glove box on my 1991 Toyota MR2?

Heres the story.
Im trying to make miracles here by somehow fitting a bazooka sub inside my MR2. I decided Im gonna lay it down on the passengers side floor but the thing I circled in RED is in the way. (by less than an inch or so)

Any idea What it is and if its part of the A/C, can I remove it??

PS I have no A/C

i have kinda opened it and its looks like a mini radiator inside with alot of dust and what not..the "radiator" thing is as big as its white case.

Also, I cant stick it behind a seat because the seat would have to be all the way forward.. as some of you would know this car is a 2 seater =((

I am unable to look at your photo, however it sounds like it's your heater core, which I wouldn't recommend removing

couldn't see the photo, but the "thingy" is the radiator heater core. part of the heating system
