Ok so i guess it was at the part where the two little brothers, salim and jamal, wanted to be singers.. those guys were putting something on their face and lighting it up i think? what were they doing? and why??? can anyone clear this up for me? thanks!

the font they used was invented by apple its called cracked, and it was created on a mac with final cut studio.

They drop acid in their eyes, for the boys who could sing good. Just in order for them to put them on the street & sing for money. It was business for them. & the girls were suppose to be prostitutes, where Latika began doing. Although she was a virgin, which made her valuable.

They didn't take their eyes out, there was a kid who still had his eyes, but cross eyed, b/c he was blind.

OH, okay, so those evil people they're living with want them to be beggars on the street, those people who sing for money, and for them to give the money they get to them- they kids think they're gonna be real singers, though. They don't know it's an evil plan. So if they find a kid that is a good enough singer, they chloroform him (which makes him pass out) and blind him by putting oil in his eyes.... gruesome!! Jamal and Salim escaped, but Latika didn't but they were reunited years later and Salim died a noble hero and they had a dance party and everything was A-ok!!!!
