Scenario: A keyboard makes loud noise when I type. The random rhythm disturbs the person in the next room. Sometimes I have a fan on. The person in the next room cannot hear the fan.
Question:
When the fan is on, one cannot hear the fan in the next room. Also when the fan is on, I cannot hear my keyboard.
So can one in the next room hear the keyboard when the fan is on, even though you can't hear the fan, but can hear the keyboard in the next room when they make noise solo.
I think the answer is yes, but can you explain why? Why can you hear the keyboard but not the fan in the next room, but the reverse when you are in the room?
