Question about the compatibility of my xbox with the microsoft marketplace.?

Hi!
I bought my xbox in Hong Kong, with the region code of NTSC-J, but i live in Canada, where the region code is NTSC-U.

My question is, does the difference of the region code have any affect on whether or not I am able to purchase items off of the canadian mircosoft marketplace? Will the games purchased online in canada work on my NTSC-J console??

My xbox live account was made in Canada, if that helps you reach a conclusion. :)

It will work fine in canada,i have one from japan and it work just like a regular one here in the usa..
 
it should with the updated information and canda account... i would sell that xbox but other one for canda that way u can buy games out store in canda and not have to go online and buy all your games
