...incarnation of Sri Krishna? I read somewhere that folllowers of Hare krishna movement believe lord Vishnu to be an incarnation of Sri Krishna. Is it true ? If yes then it is the converse of popular Vaishnava hindu tradition.
Do you reject Vedic rituals (homam, upanayanam etc.) ?
Do you reject other deities of Hindu pantheon ?
Do you believe in absolute ahimsa (non violence) or accept the validity of a "just war" to save dharma (righteousness) ?
Do you accept Kalki avatar, the last incarnation of lord vishnu according to vaishnava hindu tradition ?
What are your views on other religions? Don't you think that religions of exclusivity contradict message of lord krishna (particularly the one that condones violence agianst non believers)?
Just in case you are wondering about these absurd questions ........... I am a hindu (a born, non practising hindu) curious about ISKCON but the movement is unpopular in and around the place I live
Thanks!
