I already know the answer to this question is "no" but I was hoping some Jews out there who know their scripture well would be able to dispel this myth.
Christians like to say that there are many prophecies of Jesus in the bible, especially in the book of Isaiah, but it has become quite clear to me that they like to rip verses out of context in order to get them to apply to Jesus, or they use verses that aren't even supposed to be messianic prophecies in the first place. Is this correct?
Christians, please don't reply to this question. I have a bible commentary that lists all the alleged prophecies of Jesus in detail, so you don't need to tell me what your position is, as I'm already very familiar with it and I'm simply not convinced by it.
