Two years ago, I had two porcelain permanent crowns put into my two top front teeth. I'm planning on getting braces this March or April. This dentist thought that the only way for me to fix my underbite was to get jaw surgery which can be fixed with braces. This is the main reason why I'm getting braces but...

Since I found out braces can fix an underbite, my family wants me to get braces to fix my underbite. Since I had a gap between my two front teeth and the porcelain crowns put on there to cover the gap, I personally want them removed since I'm getting braces.

My question:
1. Is removing porcelain permanent crowns hard or easy for orthodontists?
2. What will my teeth look like underneath?

--NOTE--
I know I don't have to get the porcelain crowns removed but I personally want too.
