Hi, I am a 19 year old male who has a 53* Lumbar curve. I will try to get the surgery mid December during my school winter break so I can return to the gym during summer. My brothers Bday is on the 17th and my moms is on the 19th and I would hate to ruin their birthdays by having surgery on those days. But that isn't the only problem, we are invited on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The problem is on Christmas Eve, we are invited at a place 1-1.5 hours away, depending on how comfortable I am, is it ok to travel that distance a day or two after being discharged from the hospital? I will be on plenty of pain meds so hopefully I shouldn't be in too much pain. Is it possible, or do I have to lay in a bed for 4 weeks?
