The cabinet is the standard two input (16ohm and 4ohm in mono and 8ohm for each side in stereo) cabinet. I hook up two amps in 8ohm and play both through the cab, or switch back and forth by way of a Morley A/B switch. I've always used it this way when using stereo with two amps running. Can I use one side independantly? One 8ohm amp to one 8ohm input, thus in theory using only one side of the cabinet. Or, do I have to always have two amps plugged in to use it properly, without causing any potential damage.

Open to all answers, but hope Saul or Left T see this question as they usually give some spot-on answers
I know how to run it in mono. If I wanted to use all 4 speakers, I would change the ohm of the amp to 4 or 16 and use that mono input. I want to know if I can use the "stereo" feature using one 8ohm side with only 2 speakers whithout another amp running on the other side without damaging the cab.

If you hook it up like that you should be running all four speakers from the one amp.

edit: Sorry, you need to run 8ohm outta the amp and run it into the 16ohm input. This will make make use of all 4 speakers.
