I have a 1994 Camaro z28. It has 152,xxx miles. It's problem free. It's getting slower and older and I want to rebuild the motor my self. I've never touched an engine before but I'm a fast learner and know a lot about an engine.
How do I do this? What am I disconecting to get the engine out of the car? What am I doing with the motor before I put it back together(clean it or something)?
What tools do I need?
What's that thing you use called with the chains to pull the motor out of the car and where can I get it and how much is it?
BQ: Does rebuilding the motor make my Camaro faster? I'm getting it ready for the drag strip.
