i built this computer about 6 months ago. i have the core 2 duo e8400 OC at 3.4ghz. PNY Gtx 465. 6 gb of 800mhz ddr2 ram. xfx 9300 motherboard. and the hitachi deskstar 1tb hard drive. i am looking to buy another 1tb (same as first) to do RAID 0. i play games and watch movies often on my computer.
my question is: will using RAID 0 help performance of loading games and other files ? will the speed of the loading times be noticeably faster?
if the change is not very noticeable, i am not going to do it. the hdd is about 70 dollars on newegg. any suggestions would be more than appreciated. thanks!
