is this in walking distance to much??? it looks it on the map but they can be very hard to gauge. I have never been to the states before so cant really tell from the map I have. Also, is there a supermarket within walking distance from this.
unless you're staying for a couple days and have a tour guide/bus, you need to rent a car to do anything in los angeles. the public transportation system is a joke.
don't worry, lots of places around the airport will rent to virtually anyone over 18 years of age with a passport and credit card. a small car will cost around $20 usd/day and is well worth it.
