I going to put my 16 week old Border Collie pup on a RAW/BARF diet and was wondering if anyone had any good recipes to use? I looked at prepackaged ones like DR-Bs or Complete but they are far beyond my budget plus I like the idea of knowing exactly what is in her food.
What I'm going to do so far is probably use 1kg of mince (will mix it up weekly from beef, chicken and kangaroo), 1kg of mixed veg (put through food processor), offal, 2(?) raw eggs including shell, Cottage Cheese, Cod Liver Oil, Green Lipped Muscle, Olive Oil and maybe some yoghurt?
Plus if you're not a supporter of RAW/BARF diets and want to feed your dogs dry kibble all the time, I can't stop you, but please, you're opinions are not want. My puppy has tried Advantage, Eukanuba and that Natures stuff and I'm not a fan of any of them (especially Eukanuba) and she doesn't like them either. I only tried her on kibble out of financial necessity.
Supporters of RAW, BARF & Prey models of feeding please fill me in on your wisdom lol
