I bought a used Toshiba laptop it has windows Vista on it but I would like to just start from scratch and remove everything on it.I had a HP compaq presario and I have a windows vista -system recovery dvd I bought from HP when I had to install a new hard drive in my HP.Will this system recovery dvd work for this toshiba to? I would hate to try it and mess it up.
The system recovery cd says- "FOR DISTRIBUTION ONLY WITH A NEW HP OR COMPAQ 32 BIT NOTEBOOK PC"
AND OTHER THAN THAT IT SAYS-WINDOWS VISTA *HOME BASIC
BTW its a toshiba satellite laptop L305 s5947
