recommend a good beer for a newbie?

New to drinking beer, never really liked it until now... i have no idea why i enjoy drinking it so much as of late, something strange must have changed inside me. anyways im just curious about what a decent brand would be, i've only ever tried budweiser (i hate this brand) and miller/corona (these taste decent/nice to me). so what are some recommendations you guys would give me?

Walk into a pub and try them all out. People have various tastes.

If you are put on a spot to decide, go for a light lager to start.

If youve only had miller, bud and corona you are probably more in to pilsners. Try some Stella Atoris.. Thats a awesome beer if your into pilsners.. You might want to try a IPA (inda pale ale)!.. Those will put hair on your pear!!
