Which do you prefer?
What, do you believe, is the difference?
Are you either one?
Why or why not to each question?

Me:

I prefer spirituality.

I believe spirituality carries more freedom than religion, with enough room for as many similarities to a religion as the person would like. You can break the rules of a religion, remain a decent person, and keep a strong faith in whatever it is your beliefs may be. I feel that religion divides, while spirituality welcomes.

I am not religious, and while I have been a borderline atheist for several years, I have also been agnostic since high school, though lately I am closer to embrace pagan spiritualism. I appreciate many different facets of religion...my dreadlocks are my faith in Rastafarianism, not only for fashion, but to emulate the roots of the earth, and I grow them as an act of love for my planet and the sentient beings [human and animal] inhabiting it.

My Buddhist principles prevent me from praying....we must attain what we want through our own volition.

When I am able to, I embrace the yogic diet, which is most of the time, out of respect for other living things. Many religions have variations of such commands.

And much like several religions preach, I do not believe in stealing [from individuals, shoplifting from a corporation is a bad idea, but if it must be done, it must be done], I try to minimize on my worldly possessions, so I try my best not to covet, and I of course disagree with murder.

Etc.
