My mazda won't start and I have had someone suggest that the immobiliser may have kicked in and not switched off.

I will be checking leads, timing and what not this weekend but wanted to rule out the immobiliser being the issue.

I just need to know if it is possible to reset the immobiliser.
I have the fob and all the keys so this, please, no answers stating that you cannot bypass them, it's illegal, blah blah blah.
I know all that.

It is my car, I have all fobs and keys and what not.
I just want to reset it, not remove or bypass it (if I can help it).

It is a '93 Mazda 323f fitted with a factory installed Finish Line alarm.

You ought to call in a Fault Code Diagnostician who will have a machine that can read your car's computer. It is quite possible that it might not be the immobiliser but something else. Check out the Yellow Pages for a mobile Fault Code diagnostics engineer - sometimes they are found under Car Electricians. The only other answer is to speak to a Mazda service engineer, or you could check out the web and see if there are any Mazda forums that can give you some advice.
