The Rolling Stones DID change their lyrics per Sullivan's request, but you can see Mick rolling his eyes during the performance. I'm gonna say The Doors - Sullivan didn't like the line "girl we couldn't get much higher" from Light My Fire and requested that they change it - the Doors agreed, but when they went on stage and played, they left it in - Mr. Sullivan was NOT amused and The Doors were never invited back.
