Rogers monthly usage allowance question?

ok so im using rogers ultra-lite internet and i got an email that says the monthly usage allowance will be reduced to 2gb/month and im using 24gb over past 3months. i didnt download since the internet connection is too slow. but i played games and surfed webs. does websurfing and playing online games(free) count as downloading? please answer thankkyou

Everything you do on the internet, both downloading and upload, counts toward your usage. If you're using a web browser or any application that accesses the internet, then you are using up your usage limit.
