running on a COPY of windows 7 and my wallpaper keeps disappearing?

I DON'T have any viruses so don't tell me to check malware
when i set the wallpaper to something it changes after about 5 min. and goes back to default black.
how can i fix this?
Is there any thing that i should delete in registry or other file or folder to fix this?

This also happens if you are using a pirated copy of windows, check first if your windows in genuine. or try and run system restore, then turn off the automatic updates.
