Im beginning to train for a 10k - I ran a 5 K this fall and the training wasn't difficult- now that it's getting colder out (0 degrees celsius) Im finding it very difficult to keep up.
My lungs become very sore after the 1st half km, and it is very difficult to continue running as it becomes harder and harder to breath.
When I get inside and warm up- i will continue to cough for a few hours.
Im just wondering if this is normal in the cold weather, and if it will become easier as my lungs adjust to the temperature?? Or should I be worried?
What can i do to prevent this from happening?
