Hey, I live in Sacramento. I'm a high school student, and my school offers students the chance to intern at places in their interest field. I'm interested in Astronomy, Physics, AstroPhysics, and Science Fiction (Yeah, I'm a nerd). So, I've explored a few places, and I was wondering about other places in the area (Excluding clubs) that involve any of those subjects (I.E. Planetarium, College Departments, Physics Lab, Sci-Fi Museum). The Sacramento City College - Department of Physics and Astronomy is taken. I'm pursuing:
Sacramento State - Department of Physics and Astronomy
American River College - Department of Physics and Astronomy
Astrodon - Cosmic Photography and Telescope Lens Manufacturer
Travels Through Time - Science Fiction Museum
I'm required to pursue 5, and no matter how many times I Google: Astronomy Sacramento or Physics Sacramento or whatever, the same 5 sites come up, and as you know, one is taken, four I'm already pursuing. If anyone lives in/near Sacramento and knows of a place like that, please let me know! If you represent a place like that, or have a connection, I'll gladly give you more detail about unpaid internships that my school offers.
