Islam as true religion of God.? That is mentioned in Genesis 16 v 12, where the Bible talks about Ishmael, which I believe was rewritten out of hatred for the Ishmalites, the Arabs.

"He will be a wild donkey of a man, his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him and he will live in hostility towards all his brothers."

Its amazing, how the Bible is pointing to the Truth that Islam is the True religion of Allah (God) through this prophecy.

Just look at the status of Islam and muslims today. Isn't the hands of the whole world against Islam and the hands of Islam against the whole world.
Frail Child of Dust:
I say "rewritten" that means Gods words from the Torah and the Gospel of Jesus were "rewritten" by those who did not like what God actually said that, "It will be through Ishmael and his descendants that Gods religion will be established."
And the line through Isaac was closed when Jesus was finally sent to the Jews to save all those "lost sheep of Israel" and warned them, "I tell you the truth. Today the Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you and given to a people who would bear its fruits" (Jesus in the Bible). Who are those people, The Ishmaelites.(the Arabs).

Koran:
The Dinner Table:
"[5.51] O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."

Seems like the Muslims have been against everyone else for quite some time and ordained by God to do so.

Not very nice. So, there will be peace when everyone agrees you're RIGHT?

That's PRIDE talking, and I won't subscribe or support a religion that imbues it's followers with pride and judgement of others.

Too many Satanic verses in your Koran, my friend.

Here is the NWT translation...
(Genesis 16:12) As for him, he will become a zebra of a man. His hand will be against everyone, and the hand of everyone will be against him; and before the face of all his brothers he will tabernacle.”
Donkey/zebra...? Is this important....it usually denotes stubborn
It is true that Ishmael, the son of Abraham and Hagar, his concubine, was promised a great nation and we see it today in the faith of Islam, but that is ALL that God promised...
A lot of people...
But there can be only ONE who was able to pay the price and remove death from all of us...Jesus.
Jesus was the son of God. Ishmael was not...he was the son of Abraham...and as such, subject to inherited imperfection, just like Abraham.
Being imperfect, he could not by sacrifice remove something that had been caused by another PERFECT man, Adam.
Death and sin are synonymous...
(Genesis 2:16-17) And Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17*But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”
Adam was created perfect and only became imperfect after this disobedience...so we have all inherited this imperfection...which results finally in our eventual death...don't need to prove that...
But its not in God's master plan for us...
(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

If it was, then we would continue to be born, grow old and die....without change...

The scripture says otherwise.

It could well prophecy Islam. I don't see anything in it that suggests Islam is true though!

And it's funny how you will accept parts of one book but reject other parts of the same book - ISAAC was the one Abraham was commanded to sacrfice, not Ishmael!

Islam is the only religion today which makes sense. Everyone who hates Islam does so only by what they see on CNN or any terrorists act. It is like everyone hating Christianity because so many preists molest little boys. Everyone sins. It does not mean the religion teaches it. I grew up a Catholic, but I converted to Islam because I did my own research on all religions.

Today there are all religions which claim to be true. BUT, what you need to do is see which can really be correct and narrow down. Many religions are just within a certain country (Hinduism, Buddhism,Zoroastrism, etc) and do not go beyond much and differ from each other so much. Hindus do not accept Buddha and Buddhists do not accept Krishna. This is more cultural and just very old traditions still around.

The WORLD religions are what you need to look at which are just three - Judaism, Christianity and Islam (all who happen to believe in the God of Abraham). The 2 largest religions in the world COMBINE to be 4 billion out of the 6 billion human population!!! Do you think this happened by chance? It is Christianity (2.2 Billion) and Islam (1.8 Billion).

Thousands of years ago, there were no cell phones, televisions, vehicles, etc to spread the word so fast. The only way people believed were through the miracles of prophets with the help of God. That is how religion was accepted for so many generations. Today, science cannot even prove evolution and abiogenesis because there are so many differences of opinions and missing links. We no longer have 9 planets... oops, sorry science..

Anyway all 3 world religions taught the same thing, BUT Judaism and Christianity became distorted over time. The Old Testament was not followed which Moses preached. Then came Jesus Christ who was a Jew. He preached was Moses did and all his teachings. Then after Jesus passed away, people wrote the New Testament (Jesus never proclaimed a new book) and many things contradicted the Old Testament (ie no alcohol, no pork, etc). New Testament said Jesus died for your sins, anything that goes down your mouth does not impure your heart, etc. So essentially Christians feel God changed his mind (God is not mortal, He does not change His mind).

Well over time, God sent his final revaltion to prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Islam was not a new religion, but a restoration of the old teachings of Moses, Jesus and all other prophets in between.

The Quran today is IDENTICAL to what it was 1400yrs ago! While there are hundreds of different Bibles today. God promised to protect the Quran for rest of time. How this is done, is with the human memory! The Quran is not distorted at all from day 1 till today. God revealed the Quran in a poetic form, and Muhammad recited it to his followers using memory. For generations the Quran is memorized word for word, even today! Look up Hafiz. So many scientific reasons are in Quran which no MORTAL could known 1400yrs ago! A mortal should have just omit them in fear of being wrong rather than mention it. Bible states pharoah drowned, and Quran states God will preserve the pharaohs body and preserve the Quran as signs for mankind- what holds true today?

Islam is a religion for all, not just one community. It is also a lifestyle, not just a religion. NO MAN could have this much knowledge! Trust me... Look at links below... contact me if you want.

You're right about that verse referring to Muslims & you are right that this confirms the validity of the truth of God.

But then in the same breath you say it was "rewritten out of hatred"?

So who made this prophecy? God or man?

If God wrote it then you have to understand that it is true, and that it is through the line of Issac that the children of the promise were born.

Through Issac's line all the nations of the earth will be blessed because from King David (a descendant of Issac) came the Messiah Jesus, who blesses the whole world with his life and his sacrifice on the cross.

"Which I believe was rewritten out of hatred for the Ishmalites, the Arabs."

You can believe in flying camels if you want. What you believe is not going to convince anyone unless you can substantiate it, so, WHERE IS YOUR PROOF that the Word of God was changed?

Jesus said;

Matthew 11:13 "For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John."

No prophet was sent by God after John the baptist, therefore any person who says that they are a prophet sent by God is simply a liar and any message would therefore be false.

Jesus does not lie, therefore I will believe Him, not the lying prophets who delude people who came after John.

the bible is the original writtings of the authors of its books. The Koran is written hundreds of years later and isn't acceptable as the word of God.

Most of the bible words were written by Paul who came after Jesus. Jesus has no knowlege about the bible. You cannot find the name "Christ" in the bible itself and it has been fabricated a lot. You can seen more than 10 version of bible, each one has different number of chapters. Some of the verses has thrown out in the King James version of bible by Christian authoriteis. If that is the GOD word then who has an authority to change and alter that.

I understand that you must find the truth of what the LORD God actually says difficult to take but there was no rewriting. The Old Testament Scriptures were written thousands of years back and have been found to be true by every manuscript that has been found. The promises did indeed go through Isaac and Jacob (who God renamed Israel) and are of an everlasting nature.

Ishmael had a different promise which. although you might not be comfortable, has shown itself as totally true throughout history since.

Your additional details are untrue If you would only study the New Testament with an open mind you would find that Jesus is referring to people from non Jewish background, the people who acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ, the son of God as the promised Messiah and coming king.

Nobody is entitled to manipulate the Scriptures inspired by God in the Bible.

Mohammed is said to have been unable to read and write and he was born ages after the last book of the Bible was written. He also, sadly, seems to have taken a very young girl to be his wife, if I remember correctly. How he learnt the small amount of the Bible that he talks about in the Koran I don't know but he couldn't have read it for himself, whereas the Jewish people have had extremely carefully copied scrolls with God's inspired word written which they read and absorb each Sabbath.

All Bible students wish to teach the Truth of the Scriptures and do not ever wish to manipulate it or tell lies. We tell it as it is and hope all others will do the same. As Abraham is a patriarch for Jew and Arab alike it would be good if all this sibling rivalry was set aside and people loved the LORD God and the rest of mankind as Jesus Christ taught.
