Samsung Comeback incoming message alert tone?

I just got a Samsung Comeback, I like the phone but the incoming message alert wont always ring. Sometimes it will fully ring, other times it will ring for the very first few milliseconds of it, or sometimes it wont ring at all.

Why is this?? and how can I fix it?
