Scariest & Best Video Game on PS2?

I have been wanting to rent/buy a really good scary game that will keep me playing.

I hear that Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly is really scary but really good. Can anyone support that?

Also if I was to want to play Resident Evil Outbreak, should I go with the original or File #2? Are they even good? Are any of the other Resident Evils (besides #2) worth it?

Silent Hill Origins is a good one, any of the Silent Hills are, and as far as Resident Evil, 4 is good but not so scary. The others (Resident Evils) are definitely scarier. Fatal Frame is another one I quite like, and with a more unique premise than most games. A lot of the games people have been posting are Xbox360/PS3/PC games but if you ever get one of those the games mentioned by others are great.

I'm going to give you a different answer then everyone else but I guarantee, you will love these games.

1) The Suffering
2) The Suffering 2 Ties that Bind

These games are fun and scary and the mood is incredible. The best part is you can get both of them used for like $10 each. I have a 360 and I still hook up my PS2 every now and then to play these!
 
Go with Fatal Frame, and Resident Evil 4. Trust me. RE4 is AMAZING.
