Scrolling Through Text Messages Using The Lg Dare?

I recently purchased an LG Dare. I am not the most tech savy person, and I have been unable to scroll through my text messages. When I hit the message button, only the most recent text messages that I have received are displayed. Does anyone know how to scroll down to review all text messages???

After you have opened up your inbox, touch the bottome-most message you see, and slide your finger up. It should pull that message to the top and show the messages below you weren't able to see before.
