I bought a seagate goflex hard disk today. The problem is that the hard disk does not work with the 3.0 usb port but works fine with the 2.0 port. The laptop is new as well and definitely has a usb 3.0 port. I checked device manager but there's no problem with the usb hub. the device lights up but nothing shows up on the laptop. If someone could please help me to run the hard disk on a 3.0 port it will be very helpful. (The Hard disk and cable are 3.0 compatible)
