I will try not to make this too long, for I just want to explain the experience and try and get a legitimate answer to what happened...
Last night I was lying in my bed at 1am, wide awake, hoping to go to bed. I picked my head off the pillow and soon rested it back down. When my head hit the pillow with my eyes closed, within a second, a white light flashed and the sound of a jet engine ran through my ears. It was then where I was instantly in a "dreamstate".
I instantly became nervous with fear because I knew I wasn't awake, yet I could open my eyes and look around, trying desperately to wake myself up, which I did, in just mere seconds. After a few minutes passed, I put my head on the pillow and it instantly happened again, white light and the roaring sound, putting me back into that uncomfortable "dreamstate". This time it was 10x as vivid as the first, and more than any Lucid Dream I've had in the past.
I stood at the end of my bed watching myself sleep, shaking and twitching. I knew this had to be a dream but I began to grab my arms and hands and they felt just as real as they would in this life, and from my vision, unlike any dream I've ever had, real I thought, which kind of freaked me out. But knowing I was 'dreaming' I began to test it and hovered my body away from my bed and through the kitchen, watching my sleeping body as I floated away. I am familiar with Sleep Paralysis and the effects, but this was beyond something I've ever felt and witnessed of this nature. In all honesty, for a brief moment, I really thought there were two of me, both in physical form.
My "dream like body" felt exactly the same as it would when I'm awake. The whole 10 minutes was baffling me until I was pulled from my back by an energy source, it felt like, until I came back to my sleeping body, then suddenly jolting myself awake
My question is, was this an OBE, Lucid Dream, or a mild Astral Travel..?..
