...did, does it make it ok to sin? i know so many people who profess to be christian. they do beleive Christ put his life on the cross for us, does that mean their sins are pardoned by the blood of Christ? Since there is no such thing as good and he who says he is is a liar. So why not just be bad? Can someone please help me to make sense of this?! thank you all!
well then, can someone explain this contradiction?
 
Just because Christ died to intercede for us, which is the ultimate proof of God's infinitely perfect love, does not mean we now have a free pass to go sin. If you are truly saved, and desire a true relationship with Christ, you would know that your heart would be after God's heart and will, and God's heart has your best interest in mind.
 
Romans 6

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

It's not okay to sin, and the death of Jesus Christ is supposed to show us how evil siin is. He had to go through a horrible death to deliver us from hell. No, we must confess and forsake our sins daily.
