sever pain in lower thumb?
I have mild to severe pain in the lower part of my left thumb. when I try to rotate it in a circle it goes to about a 10. I am double jointed in my thumbs, and I noticed that my left thumb doesn't seem to be anymore, if that makes sense. If I feel around near the base I get a little pain (about a 4). One thing I did notice is that when you go to feel the bone part near the outside of the thumb (as if you were going to crack it) you can't feel the little bone bump. It just feels like mush. My mom thinks it's just carpal tunnel, since it started spreading down my arm. It's been like this almost all week. I've been wearing a wrist brace with a thumb supporter but it doesn't seem to be helping. Any suggestions on what it is/ how to manage pain/if I need to see a doctor? If you think I need to see a doctor do I need to go tomorrow morning, or is it safe to wait until Monday?
