I like this guy at work and we've been flirty and chatty previously. He is stunning too. However, I have been told that he is a player and have formed this bad impression of him. My close friends at work said 'he is out for what he can get'.

We went to our work xmas party and he asked me who I've dated and why the relationships ended etc. And after the do I went back to his. We talked and he said he doesn't understand why I have a bad impression of him and that he's been in a relationship previously but it ended, then he said if he happened to meet someone that would be great. He then carried on talking and then said whatever I say it won't make a difference as I already think I he is a player. So it seems as though he was possibly trying to paint a good picture of himself.
Anyway, we then went to bed (fully clothed) and talked a bit. Nothing happened and he didn't try anything. I then asked if I could kiss him and he said yes and we kissed. That is it. In the morning he got up and dressed and I put on my coat and and was about to leave and he kissed me on the lips and that's it.

Do you think he was behaving himself to prove me wrong? Do you think this can go anywhere? Shall I just go to work normally on Mon and wait for him to approach/chase me?

Hm, I'd say don't start anything yet, especially don't have sex yet.
Especially if you're the type of person that gets emotionally involved when it comes to sex, because then if does turn out bad, you know your feelings would be hurt.
Well, you could continue to talk to him and stuff don't "chase him", go with the flow of things.
See what he's really about and then use your own instincts and if he seems like a good enough person to you, then try it out.

he could just be putting on a act so u think hes a genuinely nice guy....but then again he could just be squashing the rumor that hes a player...it could go somewhere..just give it a try...wait and see what happens
