She's a fairly shy girl. At the beginning of the year, when I would talk to her, she kinda mirrored by actions. For example, when I would smile while talking to her, she would immediately also smile. Friday, we were sitting facing each other kinda diagonally. I was looking down at a sheet of paper on my desk, and when I looked up she was looking right at me, so I looked back, and we held that eye contact for a good 2-3 seconds before she looked away. Also, when I was talking to her, I noticed that she was fiddling uselessly with something hanging off her backpack, kinda like a subconcious nervous tick or something. I heard that this is a sign of interest, since people have no control over the things that they do unconciously. She laughs at my jokes and stuff, and when we were told to do an assignment individually, I just kinda started doing it with her (to get some time alone with her), and she didn't seem to mind or say anything.
