My boyfriend and I are planning on going on a cruise late May/early June w/Carnival. I want to book right away, but both my boyfriend and my mom (a very experienced traveler) think that we should wait to book it. My mom's reasoning is that in this economy, there are more rooms available than the demand for them, so cruises will lower fares the closer we get to the cruise date. I'm still inclined to book early, so I don't know what to do now.
