Should i buy a BMW 850i?

ive been wanting this beautiful car ever since i first saw it about 2years ago...i just keep fluctuating my feelings its like falling in and out of love, i want it, and i dont cause im scared of how much it might cost to maintain and whatnot....im just wondering if theres anyone out there that owns one or that knows how much maintanance costs are for these cars? and what usual problems are and how much they are too fix?
 
they are a nice car and everything but my father used to work on them and they cost a rediculous amount of money to maintain so i'd say stick to american muscle
 
Its a nice car but quite expensive to maintain. Everything is computerized and you will need to send it to the dealer or someone specializing in BMW repairs because it has a computer installed in every car and the workshop guys need to connect the car to a diagnosting computer even for the smallest maintenance/repair including tune-ups and oil change.
 
The 850 would NOT be a great choice, they are electrical NIGHTMARES! They have 2 HUGE batteries that are barley accessible in the trunk just to run all the on board computer equipment, they are NOT fast (they do look great) but they got horrible performance marks from car & driver. I have had the displeasure of working on several of these monsters, I also wanted one when they first came out, then I had to work on one!!!!
