Should I buy a new PSP or a used one?

So I have about $120 that I can spend right now and I wasn't sure what to do with it. I was looking though some video games and found one I like was for PSP. I looked for some Amazon prices and there were New ones for $150 and used ones in mint condition for $100. I was wondering if it would be worth it to spend the extra $50... or just not get the PSP in the first place...I'm so confused.
 
New. basicly because ppl tend to lie and bullshet about a lot of things. what they say is MINT condition could mean it is actually shet. and somewhat fk'd up.

also like one person said it is not really a very good handheld i mean yea it is good but not many people even play it anymore unlike when it first came out it was the thing to get but after a while it dies off.

idk about where you live but here in hawaii ALL stores pretty much discontinued PSP products. you will find either NO psp selections or very very little of it. my local gamestops don't even sell PSP's in general anymore
 
If you're going to get a PSP it doesn't really matter whether it's new or not, I would get the used one personally. But PSP's aren't really "cool" anymore if that matters to you. If you don't care and just want a portable handheld gaming device then go for it.
 
If you do not intend on buying the new PSP ( I think it's called Vita? ) then you should purchase a used or refurbished PSP. You can get one at Game Stop for $109 - $129 depending on the model. Keep in mind UMDs ( the PSP disc ) break very easily, so if you are a clumsy or negligent with your UMDs the casing will crack and be unplayable. Check out the DS/DSi or a 3DS also, before committing to the PSP. You wouldn't want to invest in a handheld just to beat 1 game and never play it again.
