M ysix year old grandson has the potential to be very skilled at Karate. He was the best student in his White Belt class. However, when it came time for testing to receive the Yellow Belt, those in his class who were, to say the least, goof offs and barely tested - where also advanced.
My grandson practiced very hard and was serious about his training but saw no benefit since everyone one in the class was advanced! Even the kids who were in the Yellow Belt class, ALL got their third stripe!
Should I change schools or is this how it is done for kids in the White Belt class?
